What started during COVID as a quiet way to unplug has grown into a personal outlet for reflection, creativity, and expression. I may be short on traditional talent, but I make up for it with vision, determination, and a deep desire to create.

Painting has become a form of solitude, a way to step back from the noise and put emotion to canvas, one brushstroke at a time.

Lavender Hills

“Lavender Hills” A peaceful hillside meets the bold rhythm of lavender rows—framed by distant mountains and a sky touched with evening light. Inspired by the colors of Europe’s countryside, this painting captures the kind of place we all want to escape to: quiet, grounded, and just out of reach.

Created with more passion than precision, like most of my work, it reminds me that beauty often comes from simply showing up and seeing it through.

Crimson Path

“Crimson Path” This painting captures the stillness of a quiet lake framed by trees in full autumn blaze. The curved shoreline pulls the eye forward, inviting the viewer to follow the trail through layers of red, gold, and reflection.

It’s about transition, about letting go and finding peace in the change. Like many of my paintings, it wasn’t planned. It just came to life, one layer at a time, like the season it reflects.

Winter Refuge

“Winter Refuge” A quiet cabin stands against the cold, its weathered walls framed by snow-dusted pines and a soft sunset sky. The stillness is only broken by the silhouettes of birds gliding overhead, and the suggestion that someone once called this frozen clearing home.

This piece captures the beauty of isolation, the kind that feels more like peace than loneliness. Painted with muted colors and soft textures, it reminds me that even in the quietest seasons, there’s warmth if you know where to look.

Whispers of Fall

“Whispers of Fall” Golden leaves shimmer on tall, reaching trees as a winding stream reflects the soft sky above. The quiet path between seasons invites you to pause, to notice the in-between moments that often pass us by.

This painting is about change, light, and stillness. It wasn’t planned. It just happened, like most of my work, one brushstroke at a time until it felt right. It’s peaceful, a little imperfect, and full of reflection… just like life..

Let It Rise

“Let It Rise” Firework explode against a midnight sky, trailing light and color as they reflect across the water’s surface. The brushwork is loose, vibrant, and alive, capturing not just the moment, but the feeling of something breaking free.

This painting is about joy, courage, and the sparks that live inside us all. A reminder that even in darkness, we’re made to rise, to shine, and to leave light behind.

Island Stillness

“Island Stillness” A worn hammock swings gently between two trees, untouched by time, as warm water laps against the shore. In the distance, deep green islands rise through misty skies, framing a moment of perfect peace.

This piece is about rest, the kind that isn’t rushed or scheduled. It’s a reminder that sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause, breathe, and let the day be what it is.

Unscripted

“Unscripted” This abstract piece wasn’t painted with brushes, it was created using wiffle balls, each dipped in a different color and rolled across the canvas in layered, unpredictable paths. No two movements were the same. No stroke was guided. Just energy, motion, and trust in the process.

Neon green, orange, yellow, and red collide in a vibrant, almost chaotic dance of color. Each ball carved its own direction, creating a work that’s both spontaneous and deeply intentional in how it invites freedom over form..

The Tension Line

“The Tension Line” This piece was created with rope, pressure, and preconception. Each line of paint wasn’t brushed, but pressed and dragged, through deliberate placement of rope across a black canvas. The outcome: bold yellow forms that dance between structure and abstraction, like light breaking through shadow.

Though the final image feels spontaneous, it was planned in silence. The motion was guided, then revealed. What’s left is a suggestion of energy, a moment where control met chaos and held still just long enough to be seen.
